Taylee and her Turtle

Taylee had a great time playing in her turtle with Grandpa and Mom. We think we have an olympic swimmer in the making.

Natalie, Jeremy and Taylee

Natalie, Jeremy and Taylee came to visit in August. We had a great time and went to the Rockies games. Taylee didn't like the noise of the crowd but Jeremy loved seeing his favorite team the Giants. Too bad for Jeremy but the ROCKIES won!!!! We spent a day at the pool and Taylee floated in her new frog. We can't wait to have them come back and see us!

Megan Birthday --Sweet Sixteen

Megan had a great birthday! She was in "Forks, WA" on her birthday which is the setting for Twilight. She got to go with her Grandma and Grandpa Felix, her Aunt Maylyn, Aunt Lorilea and her cousins Shelby and Tayler. Once she got home we had a birthday dinner for her and invited the neighbors. She thinks this was the best birthday EVER.

Flaming Gorge twice in July 2009

We had a great time in Flaming Gorge with our family and friends. Taylee is getting so big and Stetson is just as busy as ever. Jace had a riot playing in the dirt with Grandpa and riding his 4wheeler. It is always fun to camp and boat.

Grammy and Jess come to visit

Grandma Hall and Jessica came out for a few days in July. We went to Central City to see the old casinos and to enjoy the festivities. We were suppose to go to the Outlaws game on the 4th of July but the weather did not want to cooperate. We played some new card games and had a great time. We can't wait for both of them to come back and visit soon.

Well we finally broke down and bought a new couch and love seat. I don't think Wes will last more that 10 minutes on any movie. The couch has 2 recliners and the love seat has two recliners. They are amazingly comfortable. For Memorial weekend we painted the bookshelves AGAIN. I know....we haven't been here for a year and already the second coat of paint--be on the look out for the next color. You never know what it will be

Hiking to the Glacier

We hiked to a glacier where people are still snowboarding and skiing. It was an easy hike but there is still a lot of snow in the mountains of Colorado. We went with our neighbors, Kevin, Jenae and Avery. Because I got hiking boots for my birthday this the perfect time to try them out. No blisters. Wes says I look like the Unibomber in my outfit--I guess I kinda do. If you have ever seen me go for a walk you know I never match--that makes it fun. Now we all have new "hikers" so we will being doing more hiking and yes it was fun.

We have a girl!

Bryce, Brooke, Jace and Stetson come to visit

We have so much fun when Bryce and Brooke come to visit. Wes gets to play his guts out every time with Jace. Grandpa and Jace always make a hut downstairs and play all night. We bought Jace a new little 4-wheeler to ride. It has a lot of power and Jace was not sure if he really liked it. By the time he was going home he had it down and was doing great. Stetson is so cute--a maniac but so cute. He is always moving and you can't take your eyes off of him for a second. We love it when they are here---come and see us soon.

We have a girl!!!!!!

We have a beautiful baby granddaughter. Taylee Ann Thomas was born on March 2, 2009.
Wes drove to SLC to see Natalie and was there almost in time to see her born. I didn't get to see her until I went a couple of weeks later (poor grandma) Once you see the pictures you can understand why we think she is the most beautiful girl we know. Other than Megan,Marie,Natalie,Brooke and Leah----all our girls are beautiful inside and out. I love Taylee's hats they are just the cutest.

We are Crusin' now......

Cruise Pictures

Leah did a great job posting pictures of our cruise on their Blog. I am impressed! Hopefully I added some other ones that you haven't seen. The cruise was so much fun. I don't think we ever got bored. We saw all the shows, placed our bets on the race horses, won a game show and laughed so hard at the "Marriage Show. The most beautiful place was Cabo, but we weren't there long enough to enjoy the beautiful beaches. If we ever go back I think we will just fly to Cabo and spend time there. The most amazing thing was that I got up enough courage to parasail. IT WAS AWESOME and not scary at all. I know we will go on a cruise with everybody soon---so start saving now. It is worth the sacrifice---ok so no buying clothes, no dinner out, no extras--trust me it was definitely worth the wait.

Christmas Lights

Brooke, Jace and Stetson come for a visit

In Mid November Bryce had to go to fire school so Brooke and the boys came to stay for awhile. It was so fun to have them here and to play everyday. Grandpa Wes was on strict orders to "play his guts out". which he did! Grandpa and Jace built a hut in the basement and spent so much time there I thought they were going to become hermits. Wes took Jace to the aquarium but he wasn't thrilled with the fish or the look of the fish, so next stop Wildlife experience--much better. Even Stetson got into the act at the Wildlife experience. I think everybody had fun so we are hoping Bryce has to go somewhere else soon so they can come back to see us. We love having our two little buddies here.

Just a little slow updating our blog.......

Cody and Leah came to visit us at the end of October---that is how slow I have been updating our blog. We had a great time playing games especially "Guesstures". It was so funny. We took Cody and Leah to Central City to show them the old building that have casinos in them. The buildings are amazing, it was defintely worth the drive up I70. Since they were only here for the weekend we wanted to spend as much time as we could just hanging out. Leah bought us a beautiful handcarved wooden key for our house warming gift. We love having Cody and Leah here and hope they come see us soon.
